Terms of Service
Last updated: February 2026
Welcome to The Miracle. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and academy programmes. By engaging The Miracle for event planning, decoration, or educational services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with Dubai courts having exclusive jurisdiction.
1. Definitions
In these Terms of Service, the following terms shall have the meanings set out below:
"The Miracle," "we," "our," or "us" refers to The Miracle Events LLC, a company registered in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
"Client," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity that engages our services, whether through a signed agreement, online booking, or verbal confirmation.
"Services" refers to event planning, coordination, decoration design and execution, and academy/training programmes offered by The Miracle.
"Event" refers to any occasion, celebration, or gathering for which the Client has engaged our Services.
"Agreement" refers to these Terms of Service together with any signed proposal, contract, or statement of work between The Miracle and the Client.
2. Scope of Services
The Miracle provides luxury event planning, bespoke decoration, and professional education services across the United Arab Emirates and internationally upon request. The specific scope of services for each engagement will be detailed in a signed proposal or statement of work.
Our services may include, but are not limited to: event concept development, venue selection and booking assistance, vendor sourcing and management, timeline creation and coordination, decoration design and installation, floral arrangements, lighting design, day-of event management, and post-event services.
Any changes to the agreed scope of services must be documented in writing and may result in revised pricing. We reserve the right to adjust fees for scope changes that materially increase the work required.
3. Booking and Deposits
All event bookings require a signed proposal and a non-refundable deposit to secure your event date. Deposit requirements are as follows:
Event planning services: A minimum deposit of 30% of the total estimated fee is required upon signing the agreement. This deposit secures your event date and initiates the planning process.
Decoration services: A minimum deposit of 40% of the total estimated fee is required to confirm your booking and begin material sourcing.
Academy courses: Full payment is required at the time of enrolment, or 50% deposit with the balance due before the course start date.
Your event date is only confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit. Until the deposit is received, we cannot guarantee date availability. Deposits are allocated toward the total service fee and are non-refundable except as specified in Section 5 (Cancellations).
4. Payment Terms
Payment schedules will be specified in your signed proposal. Typical payment milestones include:
30% deposit: Due upon booking confirmation.
30% second payment: Due 60 days before the event date.
40% final payment: Due 14 days before the event date.
For events booked within 30 days, full payment may be required at the time of booking.
All prices are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED) unless otherwise specified. Prices are exclusive of VAT (currently 5% in the UAE) unless explicitly stated as inclusive.
We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, and cheque. Late payments will incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance. We reserve the right to suspend services if payments are more than 14 days overdue.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while reflecting the work already invested:
More than 90 days before the event: The deposit is forfeited, but no additional charges apply. Any payments beyond the deposit will be refunded within 30 business days.
60–90 days before the event: 50% of the total agreed fee is due. Any excess payments will be refunded.
30–59 days before the event: 75% of the total agreed fee is due.
Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of the total agreed fee is due. No refunds will be issued.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. The cancellation date is determined by the date we receive written notice.
For academy courses, cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days are non-refundable, but course credit for a future session may be issued at our discretion.
6. Date Changes and Postponements
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate date changes subject to availability. The following conditions apply:
First date change: If requested more than 60 days before the original event date, we will attempt to accommodate the new date at no additional charge, subject to team and venue availability.
Subsequent date changes: A rescheduling fee of AED 2,000 applies per change to cover administrative and vendor coordination costs.
Date changes within 30 days: Subject to additional costs incurred from vendor rebooking and are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Date changes are subject to vendor availability and may result in price adjustments if the new date falls during peak season (October–April) or requires sourcing alternative vendors.
7. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, government orders or restrictions, civil unrest, terrorism, extreme weather conditions, or other events constituting force majeure under UAE law.
In force majeure situations, we will work collaboratively with clients to reschedule events at no additional planning fees. Material costs already incurred (flowers, custom fabrication, perishable items) may not be refundable depending on the timing and nature of the force majeure event.
If an event cannot reasonably be rescheduled within 12 months, the Client will be refunded all payments less costs already incurred and documented by The Miracle.
8. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful event delivery, Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and timely information required for event planning, including guest counts, dietary requirements, and venue access details.
Make payments according to the agreed schedule.
Review and approve designs, proposals, and timelines within the timeframes specified in the project plan.
Ensure that all necessary permits, licences, and venue permissions are obtained (with our assistance where agreed).
Communicate any changes to requirements, guest count, or schedule promptly in writing.
Delays or failures in meeting Client responsibilities may impact event delivery timelines and quality and may result in additional fees.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, concepts, mood boards, proposals, and creative materials produced by The Miracle remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the Client receives a licence to use event-specific designs for personal purposes.
General design concepts, templates, and methodologies remain the property of The Miracle and may be adapted for future events. Event photographs taken by our team may be used for our portfolio and marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Limitation of Liability
While we strive for perfection in every event, The Miracle's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the specific event in question.
We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, or anticipated savings.
We are not responsible for the performance of third-party vendors not directly employed by us, though we will exercise reasonable care in recommending and coordinating with such vendors.
We carry professional liability insurance and public liability insurance for all events we manage.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of written notice of the dispute.
If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be referred to mediation at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts. If mediation does not resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may commence legal proceedings in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The prevailing party in any legal proceedings shall be entitled to recover reasonable legal fees and costs from the other party.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
For existing contracts with signed proposals, the terms in effect at the time of signing will apply to that specific engagement unless both parties agree in writing to updated terms.
